After the hard work of purchasing a rug - especially with so many to choose from, it was time for lunch!
We ate in so many wonderful places on this trip, it would be impossible to list them all, but Restaurant Tlamanalli in Teotitlan was a favorite! The owner, Abigail Mendoza Ruiz, was just too wonderful. Look at that kitchen. Have you ever seen anything quite like it? It was open for inspection and clean as a pin. The restaurant features comida Zapoteca and everything is made from scratch. It was delicious!
What a nice way to celebrate the rug buying!
