We boarded the ferry in time for a tour before departure.
It was a very nice ferry, but we were way too tired to take advantage of all the amenities.
Having an early bedtime allowed us to get up early and watch Piraeus come into view
And there it was! A long taxi ride got us to Rafina on the other side of the peninsula.
There wasn't much there, but we did have the opportunity to scope out tours of other islands, most of which originate in Rafina. Another note: The sweet rolls and coffee were wonderful!
A quick walk around town and we decided it would be best to have dinner at the hotel.
It was a good decision. With a final look out the window, I was ready for bed. We had a very early wake-up call scheduled for the next morning, a bus trip to the airport and a looooooong flight back to Texas. This was the very end of a wonderful trip. Looking back, I am amazed at all we did and saw.
