Glacier National Park

Rolling through Glacier National Park on the Empire Builder Train is one of the nicest ways I know to spend an afternoon.  Here are some of my best shots - remembering most were made from a moving train.

The park was beautiful with lower elevations already dressed in pale spring green while the mountains were still wearing heavy white coats of snow and dark green, almost black, foliage.  The rivers were roaring through canyons brimming over with cold snow melt and burdened with fallen trees.  The sun glared between white fluffy clouds.  Spellbinding.
