Tom, Ellen, Veti, Jim, and Sue joined us for birthday dinner. Before it was over, several folks had stopped by to wish me a happy birthday, say hello, look over the house, and generally be neighborly. We had enough food to share with anyone who would sit still long enough to eat with us. It was a pure Argentina dinner: steak, pasta, and salad. Veti made a great birthday pie.
At the end of the evening, I was exhausted, but I felt very satisfied with my very last Medicare-free birthday.
The next evening, I snapped these pictures of the moon. It was the Perigee Super Moon of 2012. A day late for my birthday, but I'll claim it all the same.
