I took these pictures one morning this week about 10:00. This is not typical for this time of year. Usually, by this time of day, the boats have all been unloaded and are in clean-up mode. This was a particularly bountiful night's harvest.
Every boat has its own refrigerated truck. Huge containers of crushed ice are brought in to pack the fish. It's always a smooth, efficient operation and the seagulls never get quite as much as they would like.
