We tried to make this day all about Vincent VanGogh, but it just didn't work that way. In spite of spending years there, the city of Arles seems to think little of his contribution. However, I was delighted to find a map which showed several of the spots where he painted.
We made our way to stop #1 Yellow House. I have no idea what happened to my picture.
Stop #3 was missing
Stops #5-8 missing.
We found Le Cafe la Nuit all by ourselves thanks to the owner of the building who painted it yellow to match Vincent's painting.
The foundation was closed. I never learned its purpose or the reason for its closed doors.
The city owns not a single painting by the artist, and I found no buildings, bridges, or streets with his name.
